Effective communication is essential to ensuring the success of our customer's tooling programs. E-Mail has proven to be an effective means of transferring information and data. However, in certain cases the transferring of large file attachments proves to be quite slow and cumbersome. As a result, Ledford Engineering has created customer-specific, password-protected FTP (File Transfer Protocol) sites for the exchange of drawings and other large files. Security is of primary importance and only those customers that request the use of a site will be given access. User Names and Passwords for each customer's site are created and assigned by Ledford Engineering. Instructions on the use of the customer-specific FTP site will be provided when it is created. In general, customers and Ledford Engineering employees will be able to upload and download files to and from the site. Once completed, an e-mail should be sent to confirm the file exchange.
